The Artist

Eleanor Lowden has been a professional artist for more than 30 years. She is a graduate of fine arts from the University of Western Ontario, and studied art and watercolor at the Ontario College of Art, the Alberta College of Art, and through various workshops.

She has been a member of the Toronto Watercolor Society since 1994, and was their president in 2018. In the fall of 2015 Eleanor was accepted by jury into the Ontario Society of Artists.

A large part of her learning comes through teaching art and Eleanor has taught the drawing class at the University of Calgary, Certificate Program, and teaches “Courageous Watercolor”  and acrylic painting workshops at various venues in and around Toronto. Be sure to check out her instructional Watercolor DVD ‘Courageous Watercolour” available for purchase through this website.
