Dog Walking Series
There is a special time spent walking a dog that requires no conversation, but provides a wonderful companionship. To me, it is worthy of painting.
Fresh Produce Series (new)
I stumbled on photos of bathing beauty contestants from the early 40s, 50s and 60s. It struck me how similar the women in bathing suits were to produce sold in a grocery store. I immediately found inspiration in painting them, and naming them as if they were commodities to be sold.
Downtown at night with the lights and reflections holds so much mystery for me. In my paintings I watch the people and sense their anonymity.
New York Series
Part of my love of travel takes me to New York, one of my favorite cities in the world. It offers me a great chance to people gaze, and take photos.
