Art Workshop 3 (Winter) Painting the Figure – Courageous Watercolour with Eleanor Lowden

Artist Eleanor Lowden will challenge the way you use watercolour. Working with mostly paint and very little water, Eleanor will demonstrate how she applies rich layers of paint to her support materials to create vibrant exciting paintings. Discussions on what to look for in your subject matter and how to translate and interpret the figures in your paintings will help you capture the essence of your photographic references. Eleanor is constantly taking photos of people wherever she goes, and she uses those photos as reference for her paintings. Please bring your own photos to the workshop and Eleanor will help you transfer them to the paper to design your painting. Individual attention and discussion of your inspiration will help tell your story and bring strength to your painting. This course is suitable for all levels. The seniors discount does not apply; the full fee is required.

Date: Saturday March 3                              Time: 10 -4                                                   Course Code: 9723            Fee: $57.06
